Lean Material Management for the Auto Body Industry

 
If your shops paint bench looks like this. You may not be running as lean as you can with materials.
If your painter tells you he is going to use all that mixed paint on other cars. You may not be running as lean as you can with materials.
Another mixing bench again if this is your shop, you may not be running as lean as you can with materials.

If this is your idea of After-Market parts you're probably not a candidate for Lean Material Management.
Painter_no_mask If this is your painter (face obscured for obvious reasons) painting with NO  respiratory protection you may need to improve your safety training.
One more bench Ok we couldn't resist, one more unbelievable paint benches?

Think the paint bill might be a little high in this shop? 
Paint Scale  A clean well maintained mixing room is key to working Lean.
